what about the frogs????

here i am again ending a long day, but adding a little fun, and information to it.....
i heard about a t.v. program ,from a friend, stating that amphibians are becoming either extinct, or seriously rare, because their environment is becoming destroyed .....now everyone knows i love frogs, i own three right now and have had them in the past.....so to me this was horrible news....there is a huge decline in the number of species all over the planet... there has also been high numbers in deformations, now deformation is not a new concept but the numbers have been growing dramatically since 1995....there are many ways you can help keep the amphibian population afloat..... if you visit www.nwf.org/gardenforwildlife they will tell you more information on whats happening with the amphibians, ways to help keep them alive , and some basic information on different species..... so to start my part of helping i went and bought a pond liner, a new fish net, and took my buckets down to one of my favorite parks and started to catch frogs, tadpoles, fish, and crayfish...... i plan on digging my pond tomorrow after work and to put all of them in it...... while i was at the park i already began to notice a difference in the amount of creatures available...... there were only three tadpoles, a few fish, three snails, and about 10 crayfish...... that's nothing compared to what was there last year.... so if you care about amphibians at all please check the web site listed above and do something to help...

who are your neighbors

have you ever thought about who lives around you? do you really know your neighbors?
in my job i have to do background checks on a regular basis. while i was looking on the illinois sex offender web site www.isp.state.il.us i found out that more than one offender is living at one address. from wat ive learned by state law only one sex offender is allowed to live at one address, under one roof.... now to me this is a little odd that theyre all registured at the same address and yet no one has cought on that its illegal...... i dont know if its because its a hotel, or the fact that the owner is tight with the cops......... but its right across the street from a library were children go all the time....... to me thats not safe......children go to the library all the time after school, on weekends, and in general. how do we know our kids, siblings, or even friends are safe when there are so many sex offenders living in one spot and so close to a place that attracts children...

what about them

Have you ever thought of what happens after you die? Well for most of you its the average who's gonna pay for the funeral, where am i going to be buried, will i be buried or cremated? But what happens to your grave site after the fact of the burial? Will your family look after it, or will they just jet it lie just as they have for your other relatives? For most of us we don't tend to look past our death, we do everything but look beyond death... So why is this so important to me? Because today i realized that after I'm dead and gone, and after my immediate family has past my grave will be open for the tacking...... Not in the sense that someone will actually take my headstone, but that someday i will probably be dug up for some new development, townhouses, a golf coarse, or even a park........ Today I went to one of the oldest cemeteries around me and found headstones in a pile, trees cut down, and the ground dug up.... I'm wondering were the families are to these people, and why are they being treated this way? Most people will probably buy new headstones for their relatives, but what about those who have no family? Are they never going to be heard of or seen again? And why cant we save the headstones? Why must they be thrown away?

well that's it for now ill have more later....
